After a year-plus of effort, a couple of different website design companies, way too many dollars and a lot of “heated discussions”, we’re pleased, in fact we’re thrilled, even ecstatic, to finally announce the release of our new website – www.cprplus.com.
Those of you who have gone through a website redesign can relate to this – it is a brutal project. We had a real tough time finding suitable graphics to represent the HME and Infusion industries. For awhile we had an empty wheelchair but it really gave me the creeps...it looked like the owner had died. Early drafts suggested by the website company featured what we affectionately called the Cialis® couple – a tan, healthy looking early 60’s couple who looked like they definitely knew when the moment was right...but we could never figure out what they had to do with home medical equipment or IV therapy. In any case, the old format was well past its prime and after a transitional “look and feel” facelift, we hope you like the new site. Up-To-Date Look The most obvious difference is an updated look-and-feel. We maintained the familiar destinations from our old site (Software, Training, Support, Downloads, About Us, etc.) just improved the navigation. One of the main differences is the distinction between HME and Pharmacy software, giving a visitor a clear path depending on what they’re looking for. For Customers Another consistent theme of cprplus.com is that it maintains a great deal of useful information and functions for customers. Along the primary top row of links you will find “Training”, “Support”, “Downloads”, and “Certified Partners”, and above those you will see the new “Customers” link. These areas contain the bulk of the key information available to Customers.
TrainingWithin the Training section, you’ll find information on the different CPR+ Training options - On-Site Training, Virtual On-Sites, On-Demands, and Implementation Services. You can also access the entire archive of CPR+ Weekly Infusion Newsletters, and get specific information on this year’s CPR+ User Conference.
SupportIn the Support section, you get to meet the 20 friendly and experienced members of our Customer Support Staff. We’ve always received many positive comments from customers who appreciate putting a “face to the voice” and it was time for a new picture anyway! Click on the group picture to read about each member of the staff. These guys care about you and your business – they are hands-down the best support group in the industry.
Other easily accessible features include: Start a Support Session, Chat with a Support Rep, and Send an Email to Support. Another valuable resource of the Support section is the “Electronic Billing Info” (link along the top) where you can access the most common e-billing documents such as enrollment forms, payer lists, provider setups, and links to 3rd parties. Downloads The Downloads section has been a staple of cprplus.com for years, and the new site improves this important area and makes it even easier to use. The “core” CPR+ update files can now be accessed by using the drop-down function on the top left part of the page. Each update is labeled with the exact version, including date/time, and indicate whether the update for General Release or Beta. Simply make your selection and it will take you to the appropriate download page. These pages have been updated as well, although still ask the same questions and initiate the download in the same manner as before. For all other CPR+-related downloads, the right-hand column of the web page provides descriptions and links to many important files, such as the CPR+ Data Dictionary, Workstation Installation Files, Label Drivers, CPR+ Mobile updates, and more. Meet Our StaffThe all-time-favorite page of our website, “Meet Our Staff” has been re-worked a little, and continues to provide you with a picture and bio of everyone at D.H.S. This section is located under the About DHS link at the top of our site. Get to know the people who make it all happen! Customer Only PortalStay tuned to The Weekly Infusion for more information in an upcoming issue on our new “Customer Only Portal”. This new area of our website will allow you to submit RFE’s, view the status of open issues, view upcoming software enhancements, update your contact information and much more. Stay tuned. Give Us Your Input! We hope you enjoy and use our new website. If you have any suggestions on how to improve the site, do not hesitate to let us know! Contact us via email at support@cprplus.com. As always, thanks for being our Customer! Jeff & Stuart
When you print a delivery ticket that is automatically emailed to a patient or patient contact, or you fill a new injectable prescription, or you download your Medi-Span update instead of using a CD, or you rescue a crashed server with the data backup you made with the CPR+ Backup & Recovery Service, you are using one of the many CPR+ program features developed by CPR+ Programmer Tom Rooker. In addition to these highly visible functions, Tom designs much of the core programming that run “under the hood” in CPR+. He also develops and tests new technology on our internal business management program BEFORE it goes into CPR+. Tom wrote his first program (“Hello, World”) when he was nine years old, on a TRS-80 with a cassette tape for storage. When asked why he got into programming, he says, “When I was in my teens, I wanted to look at the guts of video games, to see how they worked and how to make them better.” He adds, “With a program I wrote, I solved some astronomy problems in fifteen minutes that my classmates spent four or five hours solving by hand. I decided then that programming would be a cool career.” Tom joined D.H.S. in August of 2002. He likes the opportunity that D.H.S. gives him to work on the latest technology, and also appreciates the company’s laid back atmosphere. Tom is a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer and a Microsoft Certified SQL Server Database Administrator. We’re delighted to have talented people like Tom making CPR+ the best in the Home Infusion and HME industries. |
