Before last year’s user conference, we presented the Fundamentals of CPR+ class (a.k.a. CPR+ 101). The response was very positive, but those who attended suggested that the content should be split up so more time could be devoted to the CPR+ basics based on related job functions. So this year we’ve taken the fundamentals concept and made it better by offering two classes devoted to the building blocks that make CPR+ work: The Fundamentals of Patient Management and The Fundamentals of Reimbursement Management.

Who should attend the fundamentals classes?

Well that’s simple, anyone who uses CPR+! It’s logical if you’re a new user. Getting a good understanding of the basics will make you more proficient in using and learning the features and functions of the application.

Amy Amburgey, our Implementation Manager, subscribes to this thought, “For new customers, it’s especially important to get the fundamentals down before you go through the whole (conference) weekend where (the trainers) are assuming you have a certain knowledge level.”

But if you’re an existing user, you’re probably asking, “Why should I take a fundamentals course when I’ve been using the program for years?” Here's your answer: No matter what software you're using, the functionality is always being enhanced – INCLUDING THE FUNDAMENTALS THAT MAKE THE APPLICATION WORK.

Because of these enhancements, it makes sense to be reintroduced to the basics no matter how many years you’ve used CPR+. Re-examining the fundamentals only makes an experienced CPR+ user better at what needs to be accomplished every day at the office. This is especially true considering the new, advanced functionality added to CPR+ with each version.

And that’s how we’ve structured the CPR+ User Conference weekend. We start with the two fundamental classes on Friday, November 6th, and teach those attending the basics of CPR+, focusing on patient management or reimbursement management. Then Saturday morning kicks off a very informative weekend of CPR+ training, introducing many of the new enhancements in version 8.3a. As Amy mentioned, our user conference (Saturday and Sunday) sessions have always assumed that those attending have a good understanding of the basics (or fundamentals) of CPR+.

So, what’s being taught during these fundamental classes?

The Fundamentals of Patient Management session will focus on program options, inventory, and databases as they relate to patient management. After the building blocks of the application are reviewed, the remainder of the session covers adding a Patient, filling a prescription, creating delivery tickets and many other patient management functions.

As you can guess, the Fundamentals of Reimbursement Management session will focus on program options, inventory, and databases as they relate to reimbursement. Then the rest of the session will review Insurance verification, tracking authorizations, creating different types of invoices, end of period closing, and many other reimbursement management functions.

Both sessions will start Friday, November 6th at 9 AM. A continental breakfast and lunch are provided on Friday with your paid registration. The fundamentals sessions will conclude at 5 PM (just in time for the opening CPR+ User Conference keynote and “meet & greet” at 7 PM).

The cost to attend either fundamental session is $149 per person. As an added incentive, we are offering three for the price of two if you register by tomorrow, October 7th. So don’t hesitate!

Please join us for an hour and find out how to get a handle on what's happening in your office every day with CPR+ Enterprise and the CPR+ Document Management System.

CPR+ Enterprise takes the core CPR+ functionality – entering patients, new orders, authorizations, prescription setup, labeling, dispensing, and delivery functions – and streamlines them through a series of lists. These lists serve as a dashboard to help identify “bottlenecks” in key areas of your business. See at a glance how many:

  • Patient records need more information to be complete
  • Incoming faxes are ready to process
  • Prescriptions are ready to process
  • Delivery tickets are ready to print, confirm, or bill
  • Electronic pharmacy claims are ready to transmit
  • And much more.

Is becoming “green” on your to-do list? The CPR+ Document Management System can help. Quickly scan documents with this module and attach them to patient records, physicians, insurance companies, and inventory items, and achieve the goal of a "paperless" office!

Want to learn more about how these modules improve patient care, inter-office communication, save time and money (and let’s not forget save a tree)? Check out our next Webinar on October 7th at 1 PM EDT.
