CPR+ and ZirMed have partnered to provide maximum reimbursement and reduce administrative inefficiencies in the Home Infusion and HME industries. Why is ZirMed a positive choice for sending electronic transactions for CPR+ customers? ZirMed enables CPR+ customers to further leverage the power of technology to cure administrative burdens and increase cash flow. ZirMed solutions include: claims management, eligibility verification, electronic remittance advice, patient statements, check processing, credit/debit card processing, and provider workflow. They provide innovative, creative and flexible solutions for homecare’s most pressing administrative challenges.
It’s as Easy as 5, 4, 1… Setup in CPR+ is a snap. With assistance from your assigned ZirMed Representative, click Billing / Financial (5) > Electronic Claims Submission (4) > DME MAC Claims (Medicare) (1). From the Electronic Claims window, click the Setup (F6) button. Under Transmission Methods, select the Secure FTP Direct radio button. Your ZirMed Rep will provide the address, ID, password and other information to get things rolling. In CPR+ v8.2 and earlier, transmission protocol is set up for Medicare in the electronic claims queue. For commercial payors, setup was at the insurance company level. In CPR+ v8.3, setup has been moved to the electronic claims queue for both. Now processing nearly 20 million electronic healthcare transactions each month, ZirMed’s sustained growth, both in terms of customers and transactions, is a testament to the compelling value of its offerings. More than a clearinghouse, ZirMed complements its healthcare EDI solutions with the smart financial services and powerful analytics that healthcare providers need from the time that a patient schedules an appointment to the point of complete payment fulfillment. What are CPR+ Customers Saying?

Founded in 1999, ZirMed facilitates the exchange of healthcare information among more than 100,000 healthcare providers, over 1,500 commercial and governmental payors, and millions of patients. It doesn't seem possible, but here we are. One Hundred issues of the CPR+ Weekly Infusion. Technically speaking, next week will be the 100th issue because of Issue #18 - the infamous April Fool's Day edition. (But how could we resist? April Fool's Day fell on a Tuesday AND it was Jeff's birthday!) Personally, because co-owner Jeff Johnston was the Editor of the first 16 issues, this is only issue #84 for me. Maybe I can talk Jeff and Stuart into another contest for #116? When Jeff brought the idea of a weekly newsletter to the staff, our mission was simple: provide CPR+ customers with a training-oriented newsletter, containing valuable information that makes using CPR+ a better experience. Each week, we do our best to pack how-to's, tips, industry information, and training opportunities into the newsletter. Occasionally, we add an employee or customer bio, a cartoon, or a contest into the mix just for fun. Of course, a contest is always fun, but we also wanted to use it as a training tool. The answer to each question could be found by visiting the Weekly Infusion page on our website. Using the <Ctrl+F> or Search function, clever contestants searched for the keywords, such as "inauguration". Each newsletter on the archive page has a description with searchable keywords. Want to know more about tracking supplies by lot number? Type "tracking" into the search field and bam! - there's Issue #84, with Phil Raynes' article packed with step by step information. (BTW, the Weekly Infusion newsletters would never make it to your mailbox without the expertise of Phil Raynes. Each week, he continues to be my #1 typo-catching, eagle-eyed proofer for whom, I am very grateful. Thank you Phil!)
