While driving to a barbecue the other night, I realized that I forgot to contact a patient prior to leaving the office. I wanted to let her know that a driver would be bringing her medications to her house that evening. Dang, now I'm going to be late for dinner because I have to drive all the way back to the office to get the phone number to call her. NOT NOW! With CPR+ Smartphone I can instantly access this information through my web-enabled smartphone.

Simply go to your company’s CPR+ Smartphone URL:

Log into CPR+ Smartphone with your user name and password and then click on the Patients icon and find your patient.

Then you can click on the phone number listed and call your patient to advise her that her medications are on the way. WOO HOO! Saved the day and now I am not going to get in trouble with my boss. Oops! I spoke too soon. I forgot that I need to log a Progress Note (because we all know how important documentation is.) If I click on the patient name in the above list, I will see the Patients Menu. Here, I can click on the Progress Notes icon and see the previous Progress Notes that have been entered. Next I can tap on the ‘Add Progress Note’ button and log the call I just made to the patient.

Wow, that is cool. What else can be done with CPR+ Smartphone? I am so glad you asked. Wait a minute... before we move on, I just received a call from my driver and she said that she can't remember how to get to the patient's house. If she has a smartphone, she can open the Patients Menu > Demographics and tap the map icon and she will be presented with a map to the patient's home address with Google© maps.
