The National Home Infusion Association began in 1991 as an association representing the interests of home infusion providers who were facing a rapidly changing and evolving healthcare industry- sound familiar? Nineteen years later, home infusion providers are still facing daunting legislative and reimbursement challenges; and the need for a unified voice for this industry has never been greater. If you're not familiar with NHIA, we'll introduce you via our Mission Statement:

MISSION: The National Home Infusion Association (NHIA) is a trade association that represents and advances the interests of organizations that provide infusion and specialized pharmacy products and services to the entire spectrum of home-based patients.

What does NHIA Membership bring to your organization?

As a company member of NHIA, each of your employees has access to all NHIA products and services and discounts when available.

Legislative advocacy-NHIA is the only voice in Washington dedicated to representing the interests of home infusion providers. In the era of healthcare reform featuring constant efforts to cut reimbursement to providers, NHIA continually works to protect the interests of the home infusion provider.

Regulatory Advocacy-NHIA staff and committees take action every day to address regulatory challenges that can impact the infusion field. At a national, regional and state-wide level, NHIA speaks and works for the provider.

Education-Members have access to a wealth of information through the member-only portal on the NHIA website. The NHIA listserv is highly regarded as a key source of information exchange, allowing users to get quick answers to questions on a variety of issues. Discounts for the NHIA Annual Conference attendance and publications are available to each employee. Four times a year, NHIA features Talk Infusion, a complimentary membership educational program delivered through teleconference. NHIA's INFUSION Magazine is available to every employee interested in receiving it. It is the prime source of on-target education about every aspect of your home infusion business, plus, each issue of INFUSION contains a Continuing Education article, FREE for members!

Do You Know About Shift+Click or Ctrl+Click?

In CPR+ v8.3, you can select multiple MEDICAL claims by using the Shift+Click combination to select multiple consecutive claims. You can also use the Ctrl+Click combination to select multiple claims that are not consecutive in the list.

This will allow you to quickly set the status on multiple claims and also batch-accept them out of the electronic queue!

Also, the Shift+Click and Ctrl+Click combinations are available on the Delivery Ticket items!
